TeaPot is Live

TeaPot is the new distribution and rate management system that enables hotels and other accommodation providers to effectively manage and distribute rates and inventory over thousands of websites and travel agents worldwide. The concept behind its development is to give independent properties the tools to participate in the same markets which are currently occupied mainly by the large international hotel chains.

HotelGoGo taps into the expertise of its management which has been directly involved, for many years, in running hotels and tour operator operations. The result is an application which is built to protect the hotel's revenue while participating in a very large number of distribution channels, each one of them with its own specific cost structure.

TeaPot's distribution

TeaPot is an ongoing project, aimed to progressively enlarge the number of available distribution channels.

Currently TeaPot Global Booking Network gives the Hotels real-time visibility and booking functionality for public (FIT) rates on over 3,100 travel websites, including:

•  Sabre, WorldSpan, Amadeus, and Galileo GDS systems (used by all of the over 800,000 IATA travel agents worldwide), and the related websites

•  HotelGoGo direct and affiliated network

•  Independent (non IATA) travel agent networks,

•  Pegasus ODD network (that powers, amongst others, the very popular Expedia, Travelocity, TraveloNow, Orbitz and hudreds of other consumer sites).

TeaPot may also effectively deliver Negotiated / Confidential rates to specific Travel Agents or groups of travel agents. To do so the Hotel may need to have in place direct contracts with such entities. Please do contact HotelGoGo or any of its agents to know how to obtain such contracts.

In the same way, TeaPot may enable Hotels to participate in the Consortia Programs . These programs are offered for enrolment only once per year, and return excellent results for many of our properties. Please contact HotelGoGo any of its agents for more details on how to obtain such contracts.

HotelGoGo opens up in India

HotelGoGo Inc and CRS Technologies India Pvt Ltd have entered into an agreement by which the latter is appointed agent for the distribution of Teapot in India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

HotelGoGo's CEO, Mr Paolo Bartolozzi, stated that "India is one of the most promising new tourist destination for next years; our distributors are keen to be able to work with all the new properties that, likewise Europe and North America, have already joined the system".
